Thanks, Andy. I usually can’t stand to have lens flares in my shots, but every now and then I get some that I don’t hate. This was one of those times.
Lens flare can be a problem – but B&W often helps as it removes the odd colour so often associated with the flare, and if you have to attempt to clone it out, it’s also easier to achieve in B&W. In this case I don’t think it spoils the image at all. It’s such a good image you see beyond that.
